Plot
An aspiring chef and a recently divorced woman find their lives changed forever when a chance encounter brings them together in a deeply moving romance that lasts a decade. Director John Crowley also directed Andrew Garfield in Garfield’s feature directorial debut, Boy A (2007).
Many people in the room laughed and cried
Well, this was a really fun movie to watch with a group of other people. I didn’t feel emotionally devastated – I felt inspired by the performance I saw – Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are both terrific in this movie.
They are so good together, there is a real sense of trust between them
I heard a man leaving the party room sarcastically tell his friend “and she turned out to be a world-class chef…” I didn’t mind, because I believed her. I don’t want to watch a movie about a normal, boring life – I want escapism, romance, something different from my life, but based on truth.
Domestic drama, but between two beautiful people
