I waited 4 episodes to really immerse myself for a long period of time in this. The goal was to give myself a chance to appreciate the gift that was given to us by the numerous A-List actors who contributed to the creation of this work, which by the way is enjoyable and well-appreciated by many despite mixed reviews. Many viewers have told stories from a similar angle, but this view here remains exciting as you embark on a more confusing but well-tethered plot with female leads throughout, each of whom confidently commands our attention when they appear. Halfway through, we can’t say whether this sense of urgency, as we discover more and more of what’s going on, will remain at the level it is now, but considering the subject matter covered, the budget, and the array of talent they were able to bring this to the screen with, it’ll be hard to miss the landing, mainly because of the series’ solid foundation.
