Yes, it’s wildly implausible and plot holes abound
I watched it purely for fun because I like Ben Whishaw. My DH said it was embarrassing and said he couldn’t get over the comparison to Slow Horses.
Since Slow Horses season 5 isn’t coming out for months, this is a decent replacement
The trick is to not think about it too much and have your popcorn ready. I liked the chemistry between Knightley and Whishaw, and that was enough to keep me interested.
He was downright overwhelmed (lol)
